To acclimate, he quickly found ways to fit in and turn this new world into his home and one of the most successful of those ways, was Soccer. Mr. Edouard assimilated to his new life through a common ally, the soccer ball which provided a universal language and served as the host to many social, community skills and confidence builders.

Patrick chose to find a way to open opportunity to these children so they could reach the opportunity without any form of discrimination or shame.
Today, Patrick extends the benefits of the Edouard Foundation to carefully reviewed application, seeking both a true dedication to learning and a planned intent to carry its name's legacy on for years to come.

Jennie Heney comes to the Edouard Foundation having fostered and cared for more people than could be listed in a bio. Her life of caregiving and advocation for those in need of help lead her to Patrick Edouard. Together Ms. Heney and Mr. Edouard run the Edouard Foundation with the goal of reaching underserved youth and granting them the support needed to pursue the same opportunities in soccer as their better served peers. Ms. Haney has sponsored students, allowing them the ability to play soccer players prior to the Foundation's work and is always excited when another student achieves the same.
